Councilman Bob: Sam
Councilwoman Beth: Cheryl
Jenny Granger, Daily Bugle Writer / Cliff: Shuo

Councilwoman Beth is a very busy government official. When she's not slashing infrastructure and school budgets, she's carrying on affairs with multiple people at once. Her current lover is a 16 year old high school student and occasional car mechanic named Cliff. Sound like a juicy scandal? It does for one woman with a chip on her shoulder and a low-grade digital camera. Bitter at being tossed aside after her printed endorsement won the Council position for Beth, Jenny will stop at nothing to ruin the councilwoman's seemingly unstoppable political career.

With the aid of her councilman husband, Bob, Jenny finally ensnares Beth in her web of lies. It didn't take much. Just a refurbished digital video camera, an email by Cliff home early from Disneyland and wanting to meet in a facial feature obscuring dark garage, some expensive costume props (skinny designer jeans—all the kids wear them!), and the powerful art of seductive hand gestures with a raspy voice. Practically child's play! Too bad the camera caught on fire (Jenny and Bob had "fixed" the flash setting earlier by smashing it with a rock) and burnt Jenny's hand, hair, and parts of the right side of her face. It was a miracle that the memory card was unharmed.

When confronting Beth with video evidence of her scandalous affair, Jenny finds out the truth about why her husband was so eager to help her catch Beth. Bob and Beth were lovers for years before she moved on to Cliff. Apparently having microwaved Stouffer's Mac and Cheese every night can break up a marriage. Really. Jenny vows to destroy Bob's career along with Beth's for revenge.

Epilogue: Jenny interviews around to other newspapers but no one will hire her. She spends the rest of her days writing for The Bugle's coupon section. Bob resigned from office, got a divorce, and eventually re-married. He soon found out that his new wife was cheating on him... with Cliff. Beth also resigned and later died after a piece of masonry from a building she cut the repair budget for fell down and hit her on the head.

Great game from story games first-timers Cheryl and Sam! You guys played like pros. This quote from Bob was my favorite of the evening: "You're really good at pushing buttons... on the microwave and me!" - Bob to Jenny

Brilliant. Thanks for a fun game, guys!
