"He's not a prince, he's just the son of the chief. Really, otters shouldn't put on airs…"

The society of men, at the peak of its glory and wisdom, pushes the boundaries of "science" too far and unleash forces that warp humanity and begins its de-evolution to primitives. At the same time the animal races slowly evolve to become the new civilization of the world. Animals no longer, they optimistically call themselves the Children of Gaia. Savage men and civilized beasts live in fragile harmony…

So much good material!

- Before the accident that started the devolution of humanity, were people basically happy? Yes, unless they were 16 years old. Because you don't understand them! No one does!

- Talos, savage wolf and leader of the "back to nature" movement, can't actually bring himself to rip the throat out of a fellow creature, the wise otter chieftain. And then he got impaled by a newt warrior. I loved that he went down because he couldn't really bring himself to embrace the beastiality he preached. Introspection is bad for a savage wolf.

- The birds of prey are secretly manipulating events to centralize power and take over the evolved animal domains. Fear the Eagle conspiracy.

We could have played for hours more. I really wanted to go back and do a scene exploring Talos, the early years. Did he start the back to nature movement? What was the deal with the she-wolf? Did the otters and the newts get along and form a new society in the Fallow Hills?

We never even brought in the "no one likes the insects, no one understands the insects" theme! I want whole Periods of wars against the inscrutable bug nations.

Thanks Jenny & Jarrett! Fun game!
