Looking for a gaming spot?

There are several great gaming venues around the city, let's share our favorite haunts, eh?

The Saturday meetup happens at People Republic of Koffee--a cozy cafe with many hot beverages and sandwiches. They keep the music low and love gamers. Highly recommended for daytime gaming/regular sessions. You can always call ahead and reserve some space--they're usually pretty empty on weekends.

Our Monday spot is The Capitol Club--great for gaming with a drink and sharing small plates. They regularly host D&D and Magic games, so they are clearly gamer-friendly.

Our Thursday meetup, of course, is at Gamma Ray Games, Capitol Hill's very best game store. They have a small space upstairs to game in, and are excellent for a drop-in game (they have a large board-game library).

Where else do folks like to game? Any recommendations for the non-Capitol Hillers?

I also want to add that People's Republic has specifically *begged* for more gamers to come play in their back room. Seriously. The guy said "We want more gamers!"

Off Capitol Hill, I'd point folks to the lovely new Wayward Coffeehouse.
Story Games Seattle was rebooted in March 2010 as a weekly public meetup group for playing GMless games. It ran until March 2018, hosting over 600 events with a wide range of attendees.

Our charter was: Everyone welcome. Everyone equal. No experience necessary.
