Roger Blenheim (Lee) is a bouncer at Stan Fish's Gentleman's Entertainment Club. He's hoping to transition into a more lucrative & satisfying career as a competitor on the underground boxing circuit, where he's known as "Rog the Rock." Sheldon "Shelley" Smith (Megan) is the proprietor of said club, and while he's ambivalent about Roger's shifting interests, he too has a new enthusiasm for bloodsport, and hopes to shift the club's focus away from naked women and towards illegal combat. Harvey Millecent-Pierce (Anders) is an old friend of Shelley's from their school days, when they were both young conservatives; he's also the primary investor in the club, along w/ Charles Montworth VIII (Yoyo), who's minority stake encompasses the final remnants of his (storied, old, honourable) family's fortune. Charles is deeply besotted w/ Harvey (or Harvey's money, which is nearly the same thing), and has taken to stalking the fellow. Charles had also been Roger's (not particularly competent) CO in Iraq; for Roger, this relationship has paid off in the form of two missing fingers & a job at the strip club. So it's about even. Roger is the owner of a serviceable, nondescript van, but it may as well be Charles', who's commandeers it at whim.

Roger is fighting tonight, and he borrows a few pounds from Charles, in order to bet on himself. Charles foolishly places money he doesn't really have on Rog's opponent. Rog wins, the match, largely because he's too dim to fall down. Shelley loses a good sum as well; he'd devised the match w/ the expectation that a truly one-sided humiliation would convince Roger to return his focus to bouncing. Shelley's attempts to diversify into boxing has absorbed most of the club's income which would otherwise go to it's backers; the day after the fight, Harvey and Shelley have a spat about the club's recent dip in profits. Harvey squeezes some money from Shelley, but is not reassured about the club's longterm outlook. He commiserates w/ Charles, who agrees that Shelley should focus more on boobs and less on boxing. Charles & Harvey concoct a plan to remove Shelley from the boxing trade; somehow staging an elaborate match on Harvey's yacht in international waters seems like the most straightforward way to go about this. Harvey believes he convinces Roger to take a dive in the second match, but Rog is too slow to grasp the subtleties in Harve's painfully telegraphed innuendo. Shelley meets w/ other promoters, and devises a delightfully offensive series of champions for Roger to beat. I'm unsure about the first, but the second is referred to (at different times) as a 'japanese guy', 'ninja', and 'chinaman'; the third is a 'bearded lady'. Charles convinces Roger to tap Harvey's mistress w/ his van, in hopes that she'll miss the big fight. Roger hits the lady, and then holds her captive (& drugged) in the back of the van. The van's supplies hints that this might not be the first time Rog has done something of the sort. (Un?)fortunately for Felecia George, the van catches fire while Rog is occupied w/ Harvey. Charles decides to impress Harvey by procuring some variety of exotic beast for the fights; he ends up w/ a (very reasonably priced!) gorilla. Who, when released, quite unsportingly attacks Charles.

Rog acquits himself very well in the fights, does in the end pummel the gorilla, and after a short stint behind bars goes on to modest success and celebrity w/ bloodsport enthusiasts. Shelley and Harvey join each other in jail for a good long time. As does Charles, presumably: whatever his end, it's ignoble and not really worth worrying about.
Story Games Seattle was rebooted in March 2010 as a weekly public meetup group for playing GMless games. It ran until March 2018, hosting over 600 events with a wide range of attendees.

Our charter was: Everyone welcome. Everyone equal. No experience necessary.
