Why is all the AI so snarky? (Microscope)

Players: Caila, Evan, and Pat.

We decided to play a sci-fi themed game set in a time of human colonization of the galaxy. Our ending period was a combined AI singularity / end of humanity, so we had that to look forward to. We got in all sorts of classic sci-fi elements: giant space-faring battle cruisers helmed by glum AI's, genetic engineering in the hopes of making a more perfect human, and interstellar corporations doing unthinkable deeds in the name of profit.

It was Evan's first time playing Microscope, and Caila's first story game, but everyone picked the game up quickly and we managed to play 4 focuses in only 2 hours. Great game!
Story Games Seattle was rebooted in March 2010 as a weekly public meetup group for playing GMless games. It ran until March 2018, hosting over 600 events with a wide range of attendees.

Our charter was: Everyone welcome. Everyone equal. No experience necessary.
