How do you shoot Ralph in the back? What if you miss? (The Quiet Year)

Well, this was a weird one.

The group was a little low-energy going into this, and I think our tiredness helps explain the game that followed. We started off fairly typically for The Quiet Year: our community inhabited an abandoned ski resort at the base of a snowy mountain. Then flying tigers were introduced. Soon after, a big game hunter named "Ralph" visited and was promptly run off.

After that, things got weirder and weirder. An illusory boiling lake, purple-stained snow and animals, mysterious deaths, the undead, a cryptic cowgirl, a mountain god, and most of all, Ralph. Who was Ralph? How was he connected to the surreal occurrences? Was the whole community collectively insane?

We never found out.

I smell low blood sugar. Gotta keep those survival almonds handy.
