Well, it was the first session of Freemarket that anybody had played, so everybody was getting used to the mechanics. The three players worked together to form a kind of Sweeny Todd cybernetics MERCZ (a MERCZ is the freemarket buisness/government agency/social club/issue group) that found horrible people and then stole their eyes and gave them to other horrible people. During the session, the players...
* Talked the woman who had a family of tap dancing clone children (the TALENT FAMILY! MERCZ) into not starting her tap dancing lessons at six in the morning. *Hunted down and deathed a poseur goth who worked as a gangs fashion consultant and stole his eyeballs. *Used those eyes to make laser site eyes for a mercenary killer. On the whole, the game was fun, if a little dark, and we spent much of the game getting used to the mechanics (which are a lot of fun, by the way. The card mechanics are fun to use, and I can really see how they drive the creation of fiction). |
